Nice outdoor center. The shop itself is more geared towards rafting than other sports. There is a nice outdoor area across the river with a restaurant.

Customer service stinks! There was a sudden unexpected illness in one of my party members for zip lining which canceled our whole trip. I asked for a refund but lost my $300. They wanted me to take a voucher to use in a year, but...More

My daughter had been in the Sylva-Cullowhee area of NC for 6 weeks getting a river certification, and I came to help her move back home. Planned hiking in the Smokies and rafting here. She chose the rubber duckies, which were smaller 2 person rafts....More

We missed our turn off of Hwy 74 and ended up here. There are several cafes and restaurants, a general store and outfitters store. Great views of the river. We were not planning on visiting, but are sure glad we did!

This was a short stop over, but it is beautiful with a lot to look and do. We plan to go back when we can spend several days to fish and float the river.

The NOC offers just about anything a kayaker could want...as long as it's not Ocean Kayak brands. They specialize in Jacksons. They offer kayaks, duckies, and rafts for both rental and demo. Their store also carries just about any supply you could want; from clothes,...More
