If you are in western Carolina mountains and want to have some fun you need to check out Deep Creek. Rent a tube from one of the many places along the way (very close to the creek) and enjoy a day tubing. It is great fun for the family. Try and park as close as you can get to the... More

The river tubing can be so much fun if the water level is high enough. When we went the level was low and it was more fighting with the rocks than having fun. So before you rent check the river, if you see people getting stuck all the time, don't go!

At $5 a tube this was a good value fun morning out. You stop at the camp ground to pay and have the tubes tied to your car and then drive a bit further up the creek. We had young children - 6 and 8 - and so were recommended to stick to the lower section. It was a 5... More

At $5 a tube you can't beat this experience. My husband and I and kids age 11 and 13 had the best time. If you are uptight at all, do tubing and you will learn to laugh at yourself. Everyone one at all ages that we passed was just laughing and laughing. Such a great time. Worth the 80 minute... More

They even gave us extra incase we wanted to tie our tubes together going down the creek. The young man helping... More

Water was very shallow and the tubing was not fun due to continuously getting stuck on rocks. Finally got out of the river. ....just too frustrating , sitting on rocks rather than moving down the river.
