Great spot on the sound for watersports and/or families with small kids. The outdoor toilets and showers are very handy for families and everyone. Nice walkway so you don't have to trudge far through sand dunes.

Water is shallow, warmer, and not as rough as the ocean. A little crowded, but good place to take the little ones for a swim and splash in the water on a hot day.

I love this place! While driving down 12, I always love seeing all of the colorful kites scattered on the Sound. This is an easy spot to pull into to watch or join. Love the sunsets here, too!

I was pleasantly surprised. They had nice steps down to the beach area. The only negative was lots of broken shells so you need a chair to sit in.

Beautiful, open area for windsurfing or watching the windsurfers. Shallow and easy to launch a board.

This is a great area to bring a chair and read a book. Although this area is great for wind and kite surfing it wasn't the best for stand up paddle boarding (it was very difficult). Lots of people go swimming here as the water...More

Even if you don't kite board or SUP or wind surf, this is a fun place to stop and watch. We like to bring some light snacks and watch while we contemplate bringing our boards for us and the kids to participate.

You can rent different water sports items from Ocean Atlantic Rentals in Avon, right up the road. I believe single kayaks rent for the week starting at $69.
