Fun place for an evening

Yummy ice cream and frozen custard and a nice little mini golf course. The golf is unlimited rounds, so play as much as you like. There's some merchandise for sale in the store... read more

Conveniently located near the lighthouse and where we stayed at the Inn on Pamlico Sound. Lots of flavors to choose from, and you can get a round of putt putt in while you are there.

Sept 23rd 2016 weekend... we didn't order ice cream, because we had already stopped in at Fatty's (GREAT service, prices, and yummy ice cream!!) ... so, visited here to golf with our kiddos. Woman at front counter not so friendly and almost annoyed. Putt-putt course in disrepair, with no fabulous holes to speak of. Pretty landscaping but that was it.... More

The ice cream here was very good though the service was a bit unfriendly. It is only ice cream so I guess one can become a bit grouchy during the day. The mini golf is a bit run down and boring.

Yummy ice cream and frozen custard and a nice little mini golf course. The golf is unlimited rounds, so play as much as you like. There's some merchandise for sale in the store for souveniers. There were roaches all over outside but I didn't see any in the store, thankfully. Probably just comes with being outside in the summer in... More

Our family of six loves this ice cream parlor. The home-made flavors are often very creative and always delicious. There are the "usual" ones: Cookies & Cream, Mint Chip, Chocolate Fudge; but the six-eight specials are especially fantastic: Chocolate Coconut, Banana Brownie, Orange Crush, Elvis to name a few featured during our visit tonight. The soft custard is also very... More

Very cute and well priced gift shop that is mainly shell oriented. I did not have the ice cream, but the rest of the family enjoyed it!

Drove 30 minutes from waves....very cute small course. Had a great time, did not try the ice cream but it certainly looked good.

Great homemade custard! Always super busy! The only thing bad about this place is that the outside seating area was crawling with bugs but they didn't harm you. I guess the sugar attaches them but the inside is clean itself so I wouldn't worry. It's just nature (outside of course!)

For the price of $12 a person, this is the worse mini-golf course I have ever been on and the price is a rip-off. It was so bad that even my kids could not believe how bad the condition of the course was. The course is not maintained at all and the fake grass is pulling up in various locations... More

Our family travels to Buxton several times a year. The ice cream is always good. The service is always OK. Not the nicest people. We've played mini-golf once in six years. Just not a good value.
