We saw Paperhand Puppet Intervention perform here. It was magical - the performance, the location nestled in the woods. I will definitely be back again.

Went to a Paperhand Puppet Intervention show there, which we have done in the past. Bring a chair or blanket unless you like to sit on stone, but it is a great venue to see outdoor venue plays or puppet theater.

We saw the Paperhands Puppet Intervention here. It was truly magical---and so, so well done. I would recommend bringing a picnic beforehand, get there about 5:45.

Of course, it is famous now for the annual summer Paperhand Puppet shows (which must, must be seen at least once in your life!), but the truth is this outdoor theatre is worth experiencing just for its own sake. Come early, bring wine and a...More

The Forest Theater is a beautiful open air stone amphitheater built on a hill on the UNC campus. The first performance here was in 1916. It's a favorite place for weddings, reading, relaxing, having lunch, or just daydreaming (and they still put on plays here)....More
