If you follow basketball - college or NBA - don't miss this museum in Chapel Hill. So many stars in the NBA came from the Tarheel team. You can spend hours here - I have done so with many visiting friends and family members too. They were all pleasantly surprised at how much they learned. Tarheel fans were enthralled.

The museum has tons of memorabilia and items from every era in UNC basketball... More

Nice stop if you are on campus or in the Chapel Hill area. It is small but jam packed with Tar Heel basketball history of coaches and players. There is a lot of memorabilia as well as some interesting videos. Very nicely maintained. Free but there was a donation box at the entrance. There are a few metered parking spaces... More

My wife and I visited the museum during a recent trip to UNC for a swim meet. The natatorium is located next to the museum, so we walked through. Being from another ACC school (but not Duke), we were impressed but not infatuated. However, if you bleed baby blue, then you could probably spend a couple of hours in here,... More

Very well done. If you are a fan of basketball or sports in general you will enjoy this experience. If you have followed the Heels it's much more than that, as it ties lifelong memories together.
