Beautiful historic campus

A wonderful walking tour - most especially in the spring time when the flowers and trees are in bloom.

Since my husband, son and I are alumni, I can't be objective about this school, but I think it's campus is beautiful!

This University has such a rich history - there is so much to see, from an art museum, to outdoor and indoor theaters, the old well, and don't miss Wilson Library.

UNC at Chapel Hill was the only school which rejected me back in the day. I was from out-of-state and there was no way I was going to get it! So it was interesting seeing it many, many decades later. It is a wonderful and eclectic campus. I loved that the buildings are different from one another. The students seemed... More

My wife ran in the race. It was highly organized. We also walked the campus and the visited the Student Stores. This is Mecca for the die hard Tar Heel fan.

The school is terrific, the tour...meh. It's a big public school so maybe we were expecting too much, but it was too big of a group and the student guide was uninformed so we split and finished on our own. A self guided walking tour would be my suggestion, and just stop and ask students questions along the way. Love... More

I'd forgotten how beautiful and historic this campus is! Despite the cold, rainy weather, we loved our tour of campus and hope to return as parents of a student at UNC!

UNC -Chapel Hill is one of the oldest state sponsored universities in US. It is also frequently cited as being one of the top 5 public universities. The grounds are pristine and you might actually think you are on an Ivy League Campus. Well worth taking a couple of hours to tour.
