Enjoy a campus tour with a current student if possible - the lore is fun. Alternatively stroll with a campus map and ask questions as needed. The campus is beautiful with lots of garden spots, quads, arboretum, and blends of traditional and new construction to keep visuals interesting on the way.

A walk on the UNC campus is a must do for any Chapel Hill visitor. Unlike a near-by College campus, this one has real old buildings, not fake old buildings. You can tour the campus and tell what century different buildings were constructed by the architecture. !8th, 19th, 20th Centuries are all well represented. For fake Gothic, go a few... More

We had a great visit, we went on a college tour and our tour guide Ryan was funny, knowledgeable and personable. He showed us all of the major sites around campus, shared personal experiences and answered questions.

Spend some time walking around campus, it is unique and pretty. Trees and trails are around campus that are very pretty and fun to explore also. We went during the summer, so campus was a little dead, but it was definitely worth the visit!

UNC is old school charm with cutting edge academics. The athletics are internationally recognized as some of the best. Chapel Hill is the perfect college town.

Visited the campus because of my son's graduation. Took pictures all around the famous landmarks - the old well, clock tower, quad and of course the basketball stadium. Had a nice tour and watched video at planetarium. Walked all along Franklin Street with lots of interesting and iconic local restaurants and of course the chain restaurants as well.
