In the middle of town. Was very crowded the day after Thanksgiving but will definitely return when it's not so busy and when I come back to Charlotte. So many things to do that there's something for everyone.

Something for everyone here. Beautiful foot bridge and pond to walk or read around. Picnic areas. Big playground, old train you can explore, and the Panthers obstacle course is fun for all!

Gorgeous park for outdoor activities where you can rent bikes to ride on the trail. Excellent scenery for photos as well. Overall very pleasant experience.

I love Freedom Park - great Festival in September - lovely walks all year round. The lake could be cleaner, but it's always beautiful. The ducks and geese peacefully wade in the water. Great place for families and couples.

This park reminds me of Central Park of New York City. Has a lot of good trails for people of all ages to explore and is pet friendly.

I was there during last week of August 2016 - on my recent trip to NC -Charlotte. The serenity of this place is quite amazing and refreshing to the mind & soul alike.
