We really enjoyed our visit to the Aviation Museum. The highlights for us was a replica of the Wright Brothers aircraft from the first flight in 1903 and the US Air near disaster plane called "The Miracle On The Hudson" that Chesley Sullenberger safely landed...More

If you are an aviation buff, then there are lots of really cool things to see. If you are just interested then it is still cool, but you may not spend as much time here. There are planes for kids to climb into and see...More

Okay, it's not huge. But the displays are nice, the volunteers are friendly and helpful, and the cost is in line. Sully's U.S. Airways Flight 1549 Airbus 320, along with the engines and a good deal of stuff from that flight, is obviously the main...More

Sullenberger did an amazing job of landing this plane in the Hudson River with no engines and the airplane did an amazing job of not breaking up when it was slammed down into the ice choked river at speeds well above it was designed for....More

Most of the museum is dedicated to the plain crash from US Airways. It is in an old airport hanger but their are fans blowing. It still gets hot in summer. Recommend to sit in fighter seat cockpit and get a feel of the small...More

Certainly worth a visit, even just to see the aircraft that ditched into the Hudson River. There is a good variety of aircraft to see in a comfortable environment.

As a volunteer at the airport, I throughly enjoyed my trip to the Museum. Very interesting for anyone who enjoys aviation history.

This was a great family trip. Educational and fun. Loved that we could touch the planes. We could also sit in a jet.

This is a must see if you are in Charlotte and an aviation buff. The US Airways A320 from the Miracle on the Hudson is the top attraction here. Anyone who loves aviation will appreciate this display. It's truly amazing how little damage was done...More

As far as aviation musuem goes it's a tad below average but because of Sully's plane it gets an extra star. Aside from the US Airways Flight 1549, Airbus A320-214, there is an F-14, a Marine AV8B, Chinook and a few other jets from the...More

If there are any, I did not find them. There are several fast food restaurants a mile or so away on Billy Graham Parkway. I would say eat something before you go because there is nothing to eat at the Museum.

I would imagine they could hold them in the office there, but I would call ahead just to check. It's not attached to the airport - it's off-premises by a bit, but it's large and they have a decent-sized 'office' area; the... More

When we went it was $40. $12 for adults and $8 for children. It was well worth it as we were entertained for several hours and saw things we haven't seen at other museums
