We had a great time there, it is jammed packed with different coasters to try. We went in as soon as the park opened and spent all day until it closed, riding rollercoasters. I advise you make a budget for food and drinks, like any...More

I took my family there last night. Awesome. Purchase your tickets and fright lane passes on line. Arrive a little early. Fright lane allows you to pass the line. Look for the red spider. Walk through the exit straight to the front of the line....More

Absolutely horrible experience! No joke sit in line for 2 1/2 hours to get in. It's only open from 7-12 so by the time we got into the park it was already 9:30. Had spent a small fortune on fright lane passes and fast passes....More

Family trip to scarowinds which was lots of fun. Park is clean, lots to do. Could not see the whole park in just the time of one night during scarowinds so we will be back!

Carowinds Amusement Park. Daily entrance almost $60 and parking $20 ( preferred closer to entrance $30). For what they have there that is way too expensive. You are better off getting the season pass even if you are planning a second visit. The gold pass...More

Super fail in regards to traffic management for Scarowinds 2017. We are fans of Carowinds, have season passes, and come often to stay at Camp Wilderness. We love the park and the campground. However, we will not be back during Scarowinds. We were stuck in...More

I visited Carowinds with my family (wife, 3 year old daughter, 1 year old son). The park is nice and has nice rides for adults / older kids, but is seriously lacking for toddlers. My daughter could ride one kiddie coaster, and there were a...More

We visited Carowinds and the whole family had a blast. The roller coasters are thrilling and there are less intense rides too. All the staff we encountered were helpful and polite. My only complaint is that navigating Carowinds was a little confusing; the areas of...More

Carowinds has a great section for smaller children. I have a 4 year old that loves rides. The Snoopy Area offers a lot of neat rides for children in her age range. They also have characters to come out and take pictures with your kids....More

It depends on your child's interests. There are other rides, but the roller coasters seem to be the main rides.

Depends on when you arrive at the park. If you arrive right as they open just ride some rides for a few hours then head over to the water park. You can rent a locker while in the water park to put your towel, shoes, and... More
