This is one place I do each year. They have rock climbing and a zip line for amateurs. Best time to go is during the Hope Floats duck race for Kindermourn. You can donate and enjoy the events at this event for a great cause....More

The walking trail, especially the Lake Loop was great fun. We signed up for the family rafting, I ended up not going because the guide was off the charts with his warnings. He made it sound like a terribly dangerous and risky undertaking. He said...More

Many activities, from walking and people watching, eating and grabbing a drink, to listening to music if you just wanna be outdoors. You can check the list for outside athletic activities. Lots of fun, worthy of a yearly pass if you go often. Great place...More

I spent a weekend in Charlotte and took part in a 15-km run at the park. The park has an extraordinary layout resembling a natural park with paths and trails and streams. Enjoyed the experience very much.

I highly recommend this attraction for the family that plays together. This is NOT a waterpark for swimming and lounging in the sun. This is a fun filled activities based park for beginners through advanced. Ziplines, rope courses, wall climbing, whitewater rafting, standup paddle boarding,...More

So - I rated this place a 4 due to a couple issues. First off parking, dirt lot and a bit of a hike especially if you are hauling chairs and kids. The path from the dirt lot to the facility is poor, un-level terrain...More

It is not required to be a strong swimmer, and all rafters are required to wear a PFD and helmet. That said, if you fall out of the raft, which is possible, and sometimes likely, it would behoove the participant to know the... More
