The Village did not have shops or little stores, just restaurants. It was very disappointing as we did not have a car and it was close by. Spent 10 minutes there then Ubered out.

There are a wide range of places to visit here. There are upscale restaurants and very casual ones, Expensive clothing stores and consignment shops. Sometimes parking spots are hard to find.

Nice restaurants and shops but most of them are expensive. Great place to visit and you will have plenty to do. From Doctor offices to restaurants. One stop shop.

I visit this shopping center often for restaurants, shops and movies. The restaurants vary from very casual to finer dining. There are also 2 coffee shops that offer a great place for meetings and have WiFi for business meetings.

This place speaks to the the under saturation of things to do in Charlotte. It boasts a lot of great restaurants like the Blue Taj, Mellow Mushroom, and Burger 21 to name a few. Good night light, at Black Finn, along with the movie theater, but the parking situation here is almost unbearable on weekends.

Went here during the holidays with the family. Had a bite to eat and saw a movie. The limiting factor here is parking that can be tight since there are businesses and even a school in the village so parking can be difficult.

This is a place that I frequent relatively often. I have been to several of the restaurants here during both lunch and dinner times. There is a cigar shop that I like to visit. Additionally, it offers a movie theater, a YMCA, and several other retail services. A truly nice feature for the residents in walking distance, plus great for those of us who are a short drive away.

Plenty of nice restaurants and shopping. A movie theater. A little pricey at some restaurants, but there are also less expensive and family friendly places to eat.

Nice place to hang out and watch people go by, can't wait for black Finns pub to open up. There is also a movie theater on the 3rd floor that has a nice food offering including Starbucks and craft beers and mini wine bottles. Parking spots are small so be careful

Ballantyne Village in Charlotte NC is a great place to go to sit in outside cafes and watch people, to enjoy evening musicians outdoors, to look through shop windows or go inside and shop. There is an upbeat atmosphere there that beckons you to join in. There is a very nice movie theatre upstairs where we often go. It's hard to pass up coffee at the specialty coffee shop on the ground level. We just go to the Village. I don't pay attention to the names of places. There is a hamburger place that knocks your socks off with the size of their offerings. We didn't like the pizza at the Mello Mushroom. They didn't have a simple pepperoni or ham and pineapple pizza. All their pizzas were unusual. I remember that name because we had been in AL 3 weeks earlier and our granddaughter took us to the Mello Mushroom there--the pizza was fabulous.
