Short but very steep climb to the top. Mostly stairs with the last section a typical mountain trail. Bridge over creek with view of the falls is decent size , but I can see it getting crowded at peak visitation times. Fortunately we beat the...More

It's a short walk up the mountain but there are wooden steps to lead the way. The scenery is beautiful & you can hear the roar of the waterfall once you get close. When you get to the bridge, the view is absolutely amazing. The...More

Almost 200 (160 My 7 year old counted give or take) steps straight up to the top. Not a bad hike. The view is well worth it.

Have been here several times there are approximately 150 steps up there are places to stop and rest on the way up or down. However the view is spectacular and well worth the trip. I try to visit at least once every year.

Made sure to check these falls out prior to entering the Smoky Mountains. So glad we did. The reaction from my 10 YO when he hit the wooden bridge was the best. He was in awe, and this kid has seen Niagara Falls. It is...More

A short hike up mostly stairs with some rocky/muddy patches in between. It gets pretty packed in the afternoon. The waterfall is breathtaking!!

This waterfall is located over in Cherokee TN. The falls are very tall and beautiful. There are many steps to climb but take your time because the view from the bridge is gorgeous. We have actually been to this waterfall twice.
