Fantastic food, conversation, facility and staff. We met new acquaintances, tried new dishes and learned a few things about cheese! It was an awesome experience and I recommend including this one on your bucket list!

It was our second visit to the Goat Lady Diary and we were slightly disappointed that they are no longer able to give behind the scene tours demonstrating cheese making. With that said we filled out cold bag with an outstanding array of their delicious cheeses and truffles. We enjoyed visiting with a few goats and a variety of chickens.... More

The tour is very interesting for everyone. This is a self containing farm and dairy. The cheese is delicious and they offer a wide variety.

We've been buying their products at the Raleigh Farmer's market for a while so when we saw the open house notice we decided to make a day of it. They only do it twice a year but it's worth the trip. You can tour the farm and listen to talks or visit with vendors. We sampled all of the cheese... More

I'm by no means a foodie. Living in a small town in the South, it's hard to discover really unique food opportunities. This weekend, my boyfriend and I had the opportunity to visit the Goat Lady Dairy. I must mention that my bf has Nigerian Dwarf goats at his home, and ever since we started dating he kept mentioning a... More

We were SO disappointed in our GLD experience. The tour was way too much a monologue and the food was substandard for even half the cost. We won't be back.

Wonderful products and when they have open house it is well worth the visit to learn of the cheese making process, but get there early..they had nothing left for us to buy when we got there..

Don't miss it when they have an open house. A great way to spend some time outside with the family. The kids love the experience and they can't get enough of the cheese.

Goat Lady Dairy is a truly amazing place in northern Randolph County. They have open houses so that people from nearby communities can see a sustainable organic farm, pet adorable goats, sample fabulous, award-winning goat cheeses and enjoy the special ambiance of a vision fulfilled. This farm was built on the site of a worn-out old tobacco farm and has... More

They have a great selection of goat cheeses. You must try the marinated goat cheese--it's amazing. The people are great and explain the different cheeses very well.
