Monday Morning

After walking along the Boardwalk, we decided to stop in here. Nice coffee shop with a moderate selection of books. Friendly people.

Great coffee shop tucked away in Duck Village. Small and intimate with a friendly staff. Good place to stop in, get some coffee and a pastry. You can pick up a newspaper or a bestseller to relax with on the front porch. Many books of local interest also available.

Smells scrumptious. Nice coastal feel and very friendly staff. I stopped in searching for a specific new release Charles Todd novel, and although I wasn't successful, we picked up a nice treat, some tea, and relaxed on the porch. Nice stop!

We love Duck's Cottage for early morning coffee. We take home the Coconut Crunch every chance we get. Nutty and very sweet with medium body and sweet aroma.

Quaint bookstore/coffee shop. I ordered the Hammerhead Latte and it was AMAZING!! The best latte I have ever had! I can't wait to go back and get another one.

Cute little place!! I love how we stumbled upon these quaint little shops in Duck. We made an impromptu stop here and with teenage girls we couldn't get away from the boutiques.

I typically only go to the OBX in the winter - partially because it's cheaper then, but also because the quiet beauty and serenity of a winter day here, with the crowds gone, the gray and powerful north atlantic whipped up, really can't be described until you've experienced it. The places to stay (I always use VRBO) are much cheaper... More

Good atmosphere and yummy specialty drinks!!! The staff are friendly and it's nice to see a local business flourishing in a touristy area.

First of all, really cool vibe. It's like a bookstore/coffee shop and they were playing some alt music that I loved. It's quickly become one of my favorite places to get some work done on the computer. I think they get their bagels from Bonnie's (local shop) and they're so good. They also have some really, really good muffins. All... More
