We are Leaf Lookers and come to this area in October but venture further north for our outings so we had never been here. It was spectacular! The incredible vista is well worth the drive and short uphill walk.

Pretty popular site as you can tell by the amount of foot traffic and it connects up with the AT. Amazing view and well worth the drive up. Definitely should be on your list of places to visit.

A spiritual experience for certain. Reset my system, went on the first day of Autumn weather, crisp bright and beautiful. Felt in a zen state after my family left. Amazing. Definitely go.

Wow, what a drive. Beautiful flowers, trees, on the ride up. Will be going back. It was a surprise to find a bathroom there as well. Will be back when the tower is done.

Such an awesome view from the tower!!! We were literally in the clouds, even though it was a sunny day. It was really strange to see one side of the mountain burned away, but the other side left completely untouched. Really cool experience, but I...More

The views are spectacular from this lookout. After the fire last fall, you can see the new growth on the trees. While we were there there were several flowers blooming, with bees and butterfly's. the drive is steep, but can be done in a car...More
