We joined an Invitation to View tour and found this one of the most interesting of the "old hall" tours we have been on

A good friend held her 70th here a few weeks ago, and it was a delight. Canapes and fizz in the lovely gardens, then repairing to a nice dining room with excellent food, wine and service. Of course the focus of the day was the Birthday Girl, but Otley Hall and its staff provided a wonderful backdrop.

My wife, two friends and I visited the Hall for a guided tour with refreshments afterwards. Otley Hall is a great old house and has a very interesting history. Robert was our guide and he was very good at telling us about its past. Although I understand that guided tours are available during the year it was rather special being... More

I arranged a private tour of this wonderful and historic property. I was very grateful that they were willing to do a tour for just one individual. It was reasonably priced and included both a souvenir guidebook as well as tea. When booking, I had no idea I would be personally guided around the house by the owner who was... More

We nearly missed this beautiful garden as it only opens to the public one day a week. So pleased we got to see it as it is is the perfect setting for the amazing house. The garden incorporates historical representations from several earlier centuries and wonderful more recent sections. We particularly loved the walled garden. There is a tea room... More

Came back to Suffolk to a family wedding, with an evening reception at Otley Hall - WOW, what a stunning venue! The house and gardens are absolutely beautiful - they've kept this one quiet! We had a fantastic evening - with barbecue and bar - all good! But definitely enhanced by the atmosphere of this wonderful venue - highly recommended!

Otley Hall had an open day and we were in the area with our 2 daughters (10 and 4) so we decided to give it a visit. We prefer to go and see private homes, as we find the atmosphere generally more interesting and intimate and we can't stand hoards of coaches. It is also less stressful with kids. Otley... More
