This park, located on the Neuse River, provides some great river views, fishing, hiking and accommodations for horse trailers. The bathrooms are new and were clean as were the grounds. Bar B Que grills available.

I recommend Camping at Oyster Point & hike southbound from Pine Cliffs back to campgrounds. This is an easy Trail of 20 miles. Take plenty of water since I saw no reliable source I would even filter. This was a hot weekend in October. I...More

Great nature walk off the beaten path. Easy to get to, but rough road driving into. (Gravel, not very well maintained) Over all, on a nice cool day, it's a pleasant way to spend time with nature. Don't forget the bug repellant!!

Cool little adventure that I took my kids on! Definitely have to go with someone who has been on it before because getting lost does happen!

Beautiful trail, well marked most of the way. We brought the ENO hammocks and snacks. Set them up right by the shore with a great view.
