Worth the stop if driving south towards Asheville

I often read other reviews before writing my own to see what others noticed and sometimes remind myself of things I did or did not like or appreciate. A lady from Chicago said she didn't feel comfortable because the town of Hot Springs is "limited and remote." Thank goodness some city-slickers feel that way, ;) and while I know the... More

I loved the hot tub with the mineral water, place is very scenic and the delux one very private, nice adition: the fire place at the welcome center, Janette gave me a great herbal wrap with a full body massage, left relaxed and satisfied

If driving South towards Asheville it's worth the stop. Call in advance. We were unable to book a massage due to availability. Very cheap. While the tubs are man-made, the water is pumped in directly from an off-site natural spring and not altered in any way. An hour soak is a perfect amount of time and flies by.

We enjoyed a 1 hour soak that began at 8:30pm. Our tub was one of the last along The French Broad. We brought our own Bluetooth speaker and beverages. The experience was well worth making a tradition of.

Went on a cold December Monday. If you are going for the tubs, things to know: * The tubs are outside. If you get a deluxe tub, it has a small sad heater that will not warm you up. * Depending on the location of your tub, you may be exposed to the road across the river. Think if you... More

As a massage therapist, I know a great massage. Gray & Travis are worth every penny. I wish they were closer to me, and they made my visit to this area memorable.

Love the hot springs....so nice when there's a little chill in the air! Water temperature is just right. The hour soak is just enough time to get everything to feeling better. Private with a view.

The hot springs spa is a great way to soak away the tired muscles and any other aches and pains. The grounds are rustic, but the covered decks with jacuzzi tubs overlook the river and we're very scenic for Fall colors. Wish we had taken advantage of some of the additional spa treatments, but lacked time. Call ahead to make... More

My husband and I enjoy frequent trips to soak in the mineral fed hot tubs. Each hot tub faces the river and/or creek. The hot tubs are covered and have privacy fence around each one. We prefer fall and winter season, but have visited after a hike in the summer. If you go during warmer temperatures there are water misters... More

After an afternoon of hiking at Max Patch, getting in a hot tub filled with natural hot springs water was fantastic! My husband and I reserved a deluxe tub. Our tub was private, meaning it was covered and enclosed on three sides. The open side overlooked Spring Creek. Views of the creek and fall foliage were beautiful. The heat felt... More
