Discovery Place Kids is a bright, colorful, and engaging active play environment that can be enjoyed by children from 6 months of age up to age 7 or 8. I love that they have a separate space for children under 3 to play, so infants can watch themselves in the mirror while laying on soft mats, splash at the water... More

Great for kids as well as parents/grandparents to act & interact. Wonderful facility. My kids (female 10 & 8) have enjoyed many visits.

Our family believes in experiences for our kids (who doesn't, right?) and we can say that DPK has countless experiences under one roof. Every time we have been, there is something new to see and do. As children grow, they will interact in a new way with some part of DPK that they didn't notice before. For the record, DPK... More

My 7 and 8 year old enjoyed it but it is definitely for the preschool crowd. $10 a ticket is OK. I wouldn't make a special trip for this particular one unless I had very small kids. Cool water table and fun craft room.

Our son's family just moved into the Charlotte area, and we took our 3 year old grandson to check out Discovery Place for Kids...well, it was a Saturday on a holiday weekend, and the place was really crowded! There were lots of interesting exhibits, but there were so many parents and children that we had a difficult time keeping up... More

Discovery Place Kids is part of the DP family of hands-on museums. The original DP is in Charlotte and this review is for DP Kids in Huntersville. For several years we've had a yearly membership and it's worth every penny. It gets fairly crowded on weekends so I suggest arriving early. If you have a membership you can visit for... More

This place is AWESOME! It has a post office, grocery store, restaurant etc that kid can use to simulate life in the real world. The water station was a big hit also. I finally had to drag my five yr old out after 4 hrs. We plan to purchase memberships and visit often!

A wonderful experience for children from toddler age and older. Lots of interactive activities keeping the children busy for hours. Would go again!

This is a great place to bring your young children. It is educational while still being fun! It is great for smaller toddlers as well.
