Old North State Winery started as a cooperative in 2002 and has since evolved into a winery owned by two families with one vision. Our vineyards were established on farms that have been in our families for generations. We hope you enjoy the culmination of our dreams, our devotion to our farmland, and our passion for our wines produced at Old North State Winery. Most of our wines start out as luscious wine grapes grown on Yadkin Valley North Carolina family farms. We are the Old North State Winery, Inc. located in Mount Airy, in the headwaters of the Yadkin Valley AVA. Wine, beer and fine foods are our passion and our legacy.

While you can still step up to the bar and do a wine tasting, everything else is a little different. Gone is the deli and in its place is the Chef's kitchen. Sit down to tables set with tablecloths. Dishes are paired with wines to...More

When we arrived there were teenagers crawling on the ground. Our table was near the bar and people were standing around us most of the time. But the waiter was good and vegan options good enough. Overall good place.

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon because it was the only restaurant on Main St. that was open. They have a generous wine selection, both glasses and bottles, from that area. In fairness I will say that my wife and daughter enjoyed their salads,...More
