My teenaged niece and I took the tour while on vacation and loved it! Nice people, knowledgeable tour guide, and we saw scores of dolphins.

We say many dolphins on our cruise. They are fast so take quick pics or use a video. We probably saw about 15 or 20 of them. The boat ride is fun as you go pretty far out. Nice trip, and

This is a two hour pontoon boat ride in the Sound. You leave the dock and within a few minutes everyone is being educated on what to look for to spot the dolphins. As you venture out someone will yell out that they have spotted...More

The thing to keep in mind is that although the people conducting these tours know where the dolphins frequent, the dolphins don't always cooperate with you. However, we had a wonderful time. Saw over a dozen sightings. Definitely would recommend. Both the captain and "1st...More

The tour itself was decent enough, it is a 2 hour tour, and about 90 mins into the tour we hadn't seen anything, and seemed to be heading back to the dock, when fortunately some small Atlantic dolphin were spotted, and to the credit of...More

This will not disappoint, you will see dolphins. The boat ride is relaxing, it had a cool breeze, very relaxing. The crew was great. Had 3 teens with us which thought it was really nice to see the dolphins in the sound.

We have been wanting to do a dolphin tour for a long time and finally took advantage of this. We did see dolphins and had a wonderful tour of the area. Would recommend the Nags Head Dolphin Watch to all ages.

Had a great time on the dolphin watch tour. Did not take long to see lots of dolphins all around the boat. Did not get to close so all we saw was body's and fins. They were not leaping out of the water that day....More

We weren't one of the lucky groups who found dolphins right away, but Captain John and Elena persisted and they delivered after over 90 minutes of searching. Don't be concerned about the photos. The boat is stable and plenty big enough. Seats were comfortable and...More

$15 for children 12(?) and under $29 for adults and I think infants are $1 or free. It is well worth the cost.

Yes, I would suggest you go before you get on the boat. No comforts, just the bare bones water closet.

I think they stop regular tours in early October. You might call them to check that though.
