Played there for the first time. Had a great time. This is the second time I have played golf in 15 years and I lost several balls. Would of wanted bigger fairways for a newbie. Golf shop was nice and so was the staff.

This is a tough but beautiful golf course. I strongly suggest buying the yardage book, as well as leaving the driver in the bag. I can't wait to get another chance to play here !

I am a member of the club. It is open to the public. If you enjoy the challenge of a links course and beautiful scenery of the Roanoke Sound then you will love this golf course too. The food is freshly prepared. The chef is willing to make changes and substitutions. I have enjoyed every meal I have had there.... More

Nice course with some awesome views! Bring plenty of balls....hazards of some kind on every hole. Short from the whites, so leave the driver in the bag on most holes. Chris at the bar was very kind to give me some dining and entertainment tips.

Manicured fairways and greens, sufficient wind to make the course ever-changing, well trained, friendly staff, and a sub-four hour round. High point of a visit to OBX.

I play this course once a year when visiting Nags Head. I'm a 6 handicap. Leave the driver in the bag- I hit it on one hole. I advise players to play the twilight rates after 11 or 3. It's not worth the morning price. The course is easy to find and access. The starter was friendly and informative. The... More

They told me it was a tight course when I checked in and that was very true. On many of the holes, I lost my ball. In fact, I think I lost at least 6 balls because if you hit it in the rough, you cannot find it. The course is challenging to be sure. I did not play my... More

Nice rolling course, well maintained tee boxes and greens. Fairways are immaculate. Easy access on and off Croatan Highway.

Great golf course at OBX with some very challenging holes. This course is definitely not for a beginner golfer. Friendly staff and immaculate course conditions makes your golf outing a pleasant experience. BTW bring some extra golf balls.

We played a couple of rounds on this course during our visit to Nags Head. This is a very scenic course with numerous challenging holes. Very much enjoyed both rounds. Abundants of birds, and wild life adds to enjoyment of the golfing.
