I had the idea that this was a museum but realized when I got inside it was basically a gift shop that sold Pepsi. Wasn't really impressed.

We stopped on our way through town. My advise: don't bother! 2 small rooms with some company products to buy. Very few displays. A video on a small flat screen behind the checkout counter made it hard to hear, had to stand there to watch. Young woman at the counter had a bored look on her face and sat there... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stop at the Birthplace of Pepsi. It's not a grand spectacle like the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta and we liked that! It is a small almost nondescript (besides the awning) tribute to Pepsi. On one side they have a merchandise area with some historical items pertaining to Pepsi and on the other side... More

This is where the pharmacy of Caleb Bradham who invented "Brad' Drink," that eventually turned into Pepsi-Cola is located. This store is half gift shop, half soda fountain, both are treats to see or sample. Note: Mr. Bradham is buried in the nearby Cedar Grove cemetery. If you have been to Atlanta, GA and took the Coke-Cola tour (I have)... More

Walking in the cute downtown, we bumped into this corner where they had that sign that "Pepsi" was discovered there. Super cool. New Bern is an adorable little town with a lot of historical charm.

You can get Pepsi for 50 cents and popcorn (didn't check the price). Beyond that you can look at the old advertisements on the wall and purchase Pepsi and Mountain Dew merchandise. Clean bathroom and friendly staff. Nothing exceptional however it is the birthplace of Pepsi (original recipe on the wall) and I'm glad I popped in for a few... More

Nice little shop museum full of Pepsi memorabilia and Mountain Dew. Lots of Pepsi cans from around the world. Tourist shop with tee shirts and souveniers on Pepsi. Very interesting and historic information...even the recipe of the first Pepsi "Brad's Drink". You can also get a drink at the counter,
