There is hiking, canoeing, cooking out and camping. Cook and sit by the campfire in wonder completely shaded campsites. There is plenty of down to earth things to enjoy.

This was so much fun to hike and not strenuous at all. The views are amazing and it is also great for families. Their are a lot of places to sit and take nature in and enjoy a snack of lunch.

From the highway look for the sign indicating the exit for Pilot Mountain. Nice beautiful drive up to the top- short uneven walk to reach the observation deck- I would not attempt if your not sure footed. Beautiful views. Restrooms at both parking lots at...More

There is a narrow twisty drive going up to the parking lot . On a busy day there is a line halfway down the mountain . Don’t get discouraged ! It is well worth the experience .
