Moore Cove falls is located via a .75 mile easy-moderate trail of the Pisgah National Forest Parkway. A favorite for children and pets who get to scamper on the wide flat rocks splashed by the waterfall. Good family fun.

ETA 20 minutes and 20 minutes out hike. We went at a stroll pace. Worth every moment.my sister has cerebral palsy, and was able to get it quite easily. She's not your average CP in easy and can walk. But definately needed a little hand....More

Relatively easy hike, approximately 1.5 miles round trip. There are parts that are a little steep but the trail is reasonably clear and wide. The waterfall was a trickle compared to Looking Glass Falls but it's neat that you can get behind and underneath it.

Very young hike, nice also in the winter. About 1 hour of very easy walk. It's nice you can be behind the waterfall l.

The walk behind waterfall was barely a trickle due to a drought but a bridge nearby was so gorgeous in the fall colors, it was one of my favorite photo ops of our trip.

We took our 6 and 8 year old. The hike is on the easy side. Not the most gorgeous waterfall but what is neat is you can walk behind in like a cave area. Kids loved it. Very mucky. Need boots for sure.

We have been to many falls great and small. Some with a lot of water and some like this one with very little. I gave it average because I have been to many nicer ones but this one is easy to access via an easy...More

This is a nice hike to a pretty waterfall. We hit this one early so it wasn't crowded. The trail is only .7 mile one way and is an out and back. There is limited parking on the side of the road. The trail starts...More

This hike does have a few hills, but is rated as "easiest" by the park. About 3/4 of a mile each each way to the falls, with a small area to have a picnic if you'd like. The falls themselves were fairly thin (as seen...More
