I've attended conferences in other city's convention centers and Raleigh's is now one of my favorites. Lots of natural light. Easy to park and navigate the large space via multiple escalators or stairs. Plenty of lounging areas outside the meeting rooms and grand ballrooms. In...More

Attended a scientific conference but also there were lots of convocation/graduation gatherings happening at same time on another wing so could get noisy

Plenty of parking nearby. Directly connected to the Marriott. Nicely laid out property in a general sense, with a couple of exceptions in the "you can't there from here" type of experience with elevators. For travelers with walking disabilities that extra stress is not welcomed....More

I was in Raleigh for a national genealogy conference being held at the convention center. It is a lovely facility - very clean and easy to navigate. My favorite thing was that the meeting rooms were not freezing!

Everything you need for 1500 person consortium. Good meeting rooms on all floors. Pleasant art on walls. Value parking across street.

Attended a girls AAU basketball tournament here with 405 teams participating across the USA. I believe there were 20 courts for the girls to show their talent to college coaches. However, it was very crowded to walk through the area.
