This park has potentials but it needs maintenance. It is a wonderful concept to build a park sanctuary for the birds; however, there are few birds. The banyan tree in the middle of the park has been a sanctuary for the birds for almost 400 years. I hope they can get the birds back to the park. There is a... More

This would easily be a five star review if there were more birds. Apparently all the tourists over the years have frightened the birds away. It will take years for them to return, if ever. So sad. But so typical of Chinese tourism.

My parents have taken me to this beautiful island when i was little and i still remember the scene of so many birds flying in all at once near night fall. This time we chose to hop onto the a wooden boat and experience the around the island tour. the tour turns out to be excellent and very relaxing. recommended... More
