This is located in Kaifeng County and it is about.180 km from Zhengzhou city. The worth visiting and place is built to resemblance of the ancient Kaifeng perfecture. The famous uncorruptable Justice Bao Qing Tian was a judge in this place for a term of over a year. Performance of Justice Bao holding court performed daily. There are many attractive... More

This is a very important site in Chinese history. However, the buildings were rebuilt to attract tourists. It almost feels like a movie set. It lacks charm and authenticity.

I came to Kaifeng mainly to see this. The story behind this is about the most upright official/judge in Chinese folklore. Once you go in, there is this big drum where, if you have been wrongly accused, you will hit it loudly and continuously like a drum, wailing "Judge, I'm innocent, please help me....." and then Justice Bao (the official/judge... Kaifeng is so rich in history. It is well worth visiting, and less crowded than other of the more well-known cities in China. The air is good; the people are friendly; the food is great, and there is so much to see. The Kaifeng House Scenic Resort is just one example of a great place to see and learn more... More

When any Chinese talk about Kaifeng, one will talk about the most uncorrupted, upright, loyal and impartial official in ancient times -Lord Bao Zhen or 'Bao Qing Tian' as better known in the Chinese community. This place was built as a replica of Kaifeng Prefecture in ancient times to showcase the history and culture of those times. The most popular... More

I visited here for a short while during Chinese New Year. Quite a large area, with a lot of static displays to see. There are not many artefacts to see, and very few things to interact with in the museum. However, visually it is quite a spectacle and the view is cool from the top of the tower.

Thank Gary M
