We have been recommended by different hotel staff that we should check out the Changsha Museum...... and it might have happened that everyone got recommended to go..... the museum was SO CROWDED!!! We could hardly squeeze in and take time to enjoy the pieces and...More

The museum features Hunan history and the Han tomb in the main section, which is free and a special exhibition, which cost RMB30. The highlight of the museum is the very well preserved and complete excavations from three 2,000-year-old Han tombs of a rich family....More

China has amongst the most modern and world-class museums in the world and Changsha is one of them. We spent half a day and could have spent hours more. Excellent exhibitions ranging from ancient bronzes on, most with English signage. Most important of its displays...More

Exceedingly good and value for money. worth visiting at all ages. I go every year to see and read the scripts. opposite the fort and park.
