It is a little hard to climb up in January because a lot of snow, but you'll be rewarded by a fantastic view to the city and some worth seeing temples. In the night the mountain is overwhelming lightened, this is a MUST SEE!!

A new gateway greets visitors to this mountain park. New stairs lead you gently up the mountain, past the broken hill monument where Emperor Qianlong ordered the mountain to be split to stop the dragon's pulse, to the Phoenix and Dragon Temple area. These temples are shared between Buddhist and Dao philosophies and are still active. Climb further through woodlands... More

I think this is where we visited the Deer Farm - if I'm wrong then my apologies. Admittedly I was tired and cold but really. A few bedraggled deer, a tour guide who was pleasant but as bored as we were and a restaurant come shop that I didn't bother with. It was all a bit confusing as there were... More
