Once you have left behind the crowds bathing and eating on Sundays at Florence falls and nearby, you can enjoy the other quieter places of the park and the beauty of the Wangi falls for example

An easy drive from Darwin for a day trip. A great location for walking to waterfalls and swimming holes coupled with a picnic lunch. A very worthwhile Darwin experience.

Just 2 hours south of Darwin you’ll enter one of the most pristine National Parks to be found in Australia. With monsoon rainforest, stunning waterfalls, magnetic termite mounds, weathered rocky outcrops of sandstone as well as historic ruins this park has something for everyone.

Where else you can find the most beautiful falls, watering hole, hikes, flairs and fauna? Most of them are in Darwin. A bit of a drive from Darwin itself, is a place where nature is at its splendour. Falls everywhere, hiking trails catering for all...More

We visited here during the wet which meant very few other visitors, no swimming in the plunge pools at certain stops due to crocs and large, gushing, full-to-the brim waterfalls. We especially loved Florence and Wangi Falls. Also highly recommend the hike up to Florence...More

Swimming under Florence Falls was simply breathtaking and glad we made the trip, really impressed with the stair case down into the water and the scenery throughout the whole park is stunning.
