That many of us book online probably means fewer call in at visitor information centres. Not sure why TA has as its main picture the Ararat town hall as the centre is at the railway station. It's very well organised with a wealth of maps...More

The officer in attendance was knowledgeable and charming. Very helpful. Her recommendations were excellent especially to the Grampians winery.

Great place to stop for information about everything local. The assailants helped so much and took there time going through everything that was on over the weekend.

being a local i have still had to visit the Information Center, it isn't just for visitors to the region. the staff are very friendly and will welcome you with a big smile.

I wasn't sure what tours to do and the staff were very helpful! Toilets available and lovely gifts and heaps of brochures and pamphlets

Be sure to stop in at the Ararat Visitor Information Centre at the Railway station where they will give you all the info you need while visiting Ararat. The staff are well informed and will answer all your queries

We stopped here with a few questions and left with a mine of information. Grant, the volunteer was amazing. We learned about the area and more. Ask him about why neighbouring Moyston claims to be the original inspiration for footy. Or about the lovely free...More
