This may be the most scenic course on the Grand Strand. From the traditional pine tree lined holes to the hard river/marsh holes, this place is great. Holes 8-9 and 15-18 are spectacular. Bring extra balls because everyone looses a few on this difficult but...More

The new Sunday Ultra Dwarf (SUD) Bermuda greens are terrific. However, I’m a little (a lot) biased given that I’ve played Rivers’s Edge since 2000 when Arnold Palmer personally opened & dedicated, on Bent Greens, & we live on the 16th. We later went to...More

Another great golf course north of the grand strand. Some really challenging holes, but very playable for the bogey golfer. Well kept course. Local rates are excellent.

Played it for the third time today and we as a group could not ask for a better time. From paying to turning in the cart after 18, everyone was accommodating and most helpful. Play to your handicap as it is very challenging and rewarding....More

Love this course, but it is hard. Great views of marshlands. Must play if in the area. Make sure you have plenty of golf balls!

This is a beautiful long and narrow course with some of the toughest holes! It is challenging psychologically when all you can see is swamp and the glint of the flag on a outcropping of green! I managed to get over the swamp but it...More

I have lived in NC for 14 years and looked forward to some day play this course. Today I got the opportunity and I must say I was disappointed. There are spectacularly beautiful views and some amazing golf holes. However, the condition of the course...More

While on a buddies trip we stopped and played an afternoon round. The holes visible from the clubhouse certainly caused some concern within our group but once we got out on the course our concerns turned into pleasure. The greens had been punched and filled...More

Four of played Rivers Edge as part of a golf package. It is a nice course, but an Arnold Palmer design. Be prepared for Arny's revenge. A few of the holes are difficult. Still it was fun to play. Lots of water and sand to...More

The views from this course are unbeatable. Arnold Palmer got it right on this one! The clubhouse has a nice restaurant and bar which offers outdoor dining with 360 degree views from the deck.

I have not heard anything derogatory concerning Rivers Edge. Bad news, as you know, travels faster than good news. Generally, they take a lot of pride in there course.
