Located only a few miles east off I 95 at exit 95 for a travel break. The history of the architecture and Johnston County people, and events are on display in the small historical site.

The exhibit on the first floor is small. The real asset is on the 3rd floor where county records and other genealogical resources can be found. This is a great collection. The staff are extremely knowledgeable. They are the heart of the center.

This local museum, although small and free, has several interesting exhibits. It also houses an extensive local genealogy library upstairs. The staff is friendly and helpful.
