We drove up from Columbia SC for our 3 day golf outing. I have never played Hyland Hills so I was unsure what to expect. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. At just over 6800 yards it offers challenges for golfers of every skill level. The greens are in immaculate shape, rewarding good shots and rolling true. The staff... More

This in not the fanciest golf club but you will not get treated any better in the Pinehurst area or putt on better greens. The first two holes are ho-hum and then you better get down to business. Major elevation changes, beau coup water and extremely sloped greens add to the enjoyment. We play this course every time we are... More

Nice course. Tight fairways. Lots of trees. A little water. Was there during October and the green fees were very, very reasonable.

We had heard a lot about how this course had risen from the ashes. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The course was disappointing. The greens were way to fast and grainy. Cart paths were sandy ruts on many holes and the bunkers were very inconsistent. Of the three courses that we played over the course of the weekend,... More

Very nice people at club drop, pro shop and lunch room. Fast greens and true roll. Would recommend this course.

Have played just about every course in the Sandhills and many in the Myrtle Beach area and Hyland ranks with the best. Overall conditions are superb with the best greens around. Beautiful views from several locations as the course is on one of the highest points in Moore County. Friendly staff will make you feel welcomed and want to come... More

This was the first time I played there and the course was in very good shape. A couple of hard holes with some water hazards. But all in all a very good course. Nice club house, good driving range. They have a discount card you can purchase to use on your next visit. I will diffently be returning.

Just returned from a golf trip - our 27th as a group to the Pinehurst-area. The 1st day - we played The Hyland Club. This was the perfect course to begin our annual golf adventure. The course is very playable and was in great condition. Great start to a great outing.
