We visited the Weymouth during a recent visit to Southern Pines. Beautiful gardens and a lovely day! Easy access to the gardens and the hiking area. Great place to take the grandchildren!

Came to the Weymouth Center for the Party for the Pine. Great event on beautiful grounds. Enjoyed the hike to the old tree. Next time will bring the pups.

We attended a wedding here and the whole setup was beautiful. The weather was gorgeous so that was helpful. We had ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing outside. There is a brick patio that works perfectly for a dance floor. With some outdoor string lights the setting took on a fairy-tale feel. The history of the center was interesting and the... More

We attended a Celtic Christmas event at Weymouth and then a tour of the house and grounds. The Center provides a working place for local writers, and a nice getaway for someone looking for something different to do.

Definitely stop by! The history of this house is rich and the wonderful volunteers that bring you the history and maintain the gardens are a Southern delight! Check out their activities too! Really bringing some fine culture to the area and providing evening and family-friendly quality outings!

An authentic country house mansion that belonged to a well known writer of books in the days of Fitzgerald and Hemingway, both of whom stayed there from time to time. Elegant and filled with antiques, it also was a horse farm , devoted to the hunt, and has beautiful gardens, now tended by volunteers. It is currently used for events,... More

The grounds at Weymouth are breath taking! The programs they offer are wonderful! Sounds on the Ground is a great concept, a little poorly executed (volunteers are not clearly identified, signs indicating admission are not clearly marked). Our family loves to enjoy a day hiking at Weymouth whenever we don't have to interact with staff or volunteers. They tend to... More

A nice place to visit with beautiful grounds and occasional art shows inside. Very nice for events and my sister was married outside on the grounds and it could not have been more beautiful and serene.

Fundraiser for the Arts at Weymouth. With food from Mark Elliott of Elliot's on Linden, this was a perfect evening spent with friends at a formal fundraiser.
