Five us were treated to a water tour of the Cape Fear area. Captain Nancy and First Mate Doug were funny, friendly, informative and generally great tour guides as well as boatsmen. My confidence in their professional seamanship was already high since I knew both were long time members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and I knew safety would be... More

The tour went above and beyond any boat tour I have ever experienced. The Captain and her first mate were very knowledgeable and amicable. My boyfriend and I took the tour together and we both really enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone in the Southport, NC area.

Had a great time aboard the "No Wake" with Captain Nancy and her competent first mate Shirley. The tour was extremely relaxing, and is a great way to see Southport from the water. Captain Nancy has a book of photos on a number of her adventures, and its well worth asking her to bring it out. Our favorite stories were... More

My wife and I booked a tour with Captain Nancy on our weekend getaway to celebrate out 40th wedding anniversary on April 7, 2013. Nancy and first mate Shirley were a joy to be with for our two hour tour. The courtesy they extended was first class and we had a terrific time. Captain Nancy and Shirley posess a wealth... More

We had the good fortune to be in the Southport area last April, and went out on the "Tugboat" with Captain Nancy. To our surprise and delight we happened to be there the weekend large flocks of white Ibis began returning from the south to their summer rookery on Bird Island - just across the water from Southport. It was... More

We have gone out with Capt. Nancy on her tugboat "No WAKE" on several occasions. It is always a wonderful experience and our guests always love it. It is a fantastic way to see the beauty of the area and just a really nice way to spend time out on the water. Capt. Nancy is a very friendly, knowledgeable guide... More

My family and I lived on Oak Island for several years and always wanted to see the Island by boat. After looking around I seen a little tug boat moored up at South Port Marina with a tour sign. I called Captian Nancy and she quickly booked our trip. She and her crew were amazing. We seen dolphins, birds and... More

Went out on a ride on the "NO WAKE" tugboat last week while in town and what an enjoyable evening it was! Nancy and Shirley are great and very knowledgeable of the area. The tour took us around Southport and over to Baldhead Island and then over to the Fort Caswell/Oak Island Lighthouse area. We were out for 2 hours... More

If you are looking for an adventurous way to view Southport and the surrounding area from the water, give Capt. Nancy a call!! You won't regret it!! She is a qualified USCG crew member and is very knowledgeable about the area. Her tugboat, the NO WAKE, holds up to 6 passengers, and life jackets are supplied. You won't need them... More
