Went to Top Sail with two other families. Had an absolute fabulous time. So relaxing on the beach. Makin Waves Jet Ski rental was outstanding and if you like that sort of thing I would recommend them highly. The people were friendly as ever and...More

We had a great getaway! We loved walking the beach. It wasn't crowded. Lots of broken shells for our 4 year old to collect. The waves weren't too big & we stayed right on the beach so access was easy, but there were also quite...More

Just a quick drive through and beach walk. Very shabby rental houses. Tons of them, everywhere. Nice enough beach, found sharks teeth. They allow dogs and I saw people drinking alcohol. Not a place I would stay longer than a quick walk and then drive...More

First time visiting Topsail Island and loved it. Reminds me of a small town. Will definitely be coming back.

Our first visit here was a total success. We rented a beach house for a week. No worries. No crazy stuff on the beach. Lovely winds and waves. Look for turtles and crabs, shells and shark teeth. Super casual.

Yes. One is indeed around the middle of the island. It's smaller but on the same side of 210 as the beach. Another is just a few miles south of the north bridge near Sneed's Ferry. It's larger, features some trees, and has... More

Daddy Mac's if you can get in. Most romantic? Go to Thomas seafood and produce buy some mussels (frozen) and make some linguine with mussels in wine sauce and eat on your deck watching the sunset
