This course has very poor cart paths, and the condition in general is neglected. The layout is fine but the maitenance undermines the experience.

Played Silver Creek last week with my nephew and came away with mixed feelings. On the one hand SC was well laid out and scenic, plenty of water to get you in trouble and well placed bunkers. On the other hand there were some condition issues, the foremost being the backbreaking cart paths and a number of tee boxes that... More

The staff was very friendly and showed us the first tee and explained the course layout. The cart parth was in absolutely terrible condition. I couldn't take it after the first hole so I began just driving up the fairway. The tee boxes were not cut which was frustrating and the tee markers on some holes were placed on a... More

First time here and don't think I would pay $50 to play again. Positives: Carts looked to be brand new and staff was very friendly. There were a few interesting holes, especially a couple of the par 3s, in my opinion. Fairways were in decent shape and greens to tees were close together. Twosome played in a little over three... Have played the course every year for past 15 or so years during our annual Beach Trip. Started here originally because my son and son in law hit the ball a long way with less than stellar control. The absence of on course homes makes SC more fun than Brandywine and SC easier to get on and more fun than... More

The course was in good shape except for the cart paths and roughs. The cart paths were terrible. The rough was very high and swallowed a lot of balls. The price is. To bad at 42 dollars. It may be worth it to pay a little more and play somewhere else.

We golf at Emerald Isle when we vacation and have played at Silver Creek in years past. This year brought us back because of the bargain twilight rate. We were pleasantly surprised to see the previously horrendous golf paths have been improved. But they're still bone-jarring. And the new carts are nice. The course itself isn't exactly in prime condition... More

I played Silver Creek several years ago when the cart paths were unusable and the course was a mud hole. There have been a ton of improvements made and the maintenance has gotten much better. I play there regularly now (mostly I walk) and really enjoy the course. Silver Creek is a sprawling golf course where you enjoy the scenery... More

The owner of this course is a cheap skate, dishonest business man, who refuses to make repairs to his golf course even though he has the money to do so. apparently he handles all his business this way. Shady. Wouldn't waste my time or money.
