I did a half day wade trip with Brandon while I was passing through Sylva. What a great day on the water! The action was very steady the whole time. I netted 15 fish and missed several more. I fished with Jason today, the owner of Hookers Fly fishing. We fished on the Tuckasegee. river from the Baptist Church in Webster to the Dillsboro boat launch area. I had only fished that area once before so was very excited that Jason recommended this area to fish today...bottom line non stop action...my friend and I caught over 40 fish and five of them were fish we could brag about..I hooked the biggest fish of my life, but lost this beautiful rainbow before it was ready to be netted...just dumb luck...but we all saw it..I cannot wait to book another trip...if your looking for a great day on the water I would recommend Jason and his team....…

We were a group of beginners and Jason and Wes were so patient and helpful. They had a great spot for us and we all caught several fish.They seem to know the area very well and are experts at what they do. I would highly recommend Hookers Fly Shop. We had the best time!

We've been on float and wading trips with Jason at Hooker's Fly Shop and it's always been awesome. Great teacher who keeps if fun and relaxed through the day. Knows the best spots for trout and small mouth and will put you on fish. I caught 70+ fish in a full day with him this past weekend including large browns, brooks and rainbows. Best money you'll spend on your trip to Western N.C.…
