The historic district is great houses and shops that make up downtown Wilmington. It is a great stroll to walk along the river and stop in the shops and see old houses.

This was well worth the price and the guide was very entertaining. It really helps to understand a historic city better hearing stories intertwined with history when you have never been there before

We did not book carriage ride or meals in advance, but don't about the summer months. Park at the parking garage. Think there is only one public parking garage in the historic district.

I believe the tour was $15 per person and the guide that drove did a wonderful job explaining all the highlights of the historic district.
