Did not know what to expect and were very impressesed. I think Charleston and New Orleans when I contemplate historic dictricts. Wilmington was fascinating and has all the bells and whistles. Great place to walk and explore.

So much history in Wilmington. Beautiful area to walk around. We also took the horse and trolley history tour, which was interesting. A lot of films were made throughout the area. The buildings are beautiful. A lot of wonderful photo ops.

If you have a chance walk around the historic district and you would be amazed at the history in this town. There is a lot of civil war but there is also recent events. There are even movies made such as Wilmington on Fire.

Historic Wilmington is really beautiful and the city has done a nice job preserving it. There are many different tours to do here, both during the day and at night.

We did not book carriage ride or meals in advance, but don't about the summer months. Park at the parking garage. Think there is only one public parking garage in the historic district.

I think it is about $15 per person - no reservations needed- just wait in line.

I believe the tour was $15 per person and the guide that drove did a wonderful job explaining all the highlights of the historic district.
