We bought the three mansion tour, the Bellamy is the longest tour and it is the most interesting. However, it is a very long tour, starts with a movie, and the small children in our group were VERY bored and so we would NOT recommend...More

We had such an amazing time visiting the Mansion, especially in a time like now when the country needs to come together. We did the self guided tour with the earphones and watched the 10 minute video of the history of the property. Everything about...More

My husband and I recently went on vacation to Carolina Beach, NC and decided to check out the Bellamy Mansion on a rainy day. So many other people had the same idea! It was a large group, but the person in charge did a great...More

You can wander at leisure and/or do the tour. It started with a movie and ended with being told we could wander at will. Took about 1.5 hours. Each of the three houses has their own focus - this one is architecture. It would have...More

We did the tri-ticket deal and saw three homes that spread over a time period of about 125 years. The mansion and slave quarter tour is largely about the architecture and was interesting. I could have used more info about Dr. Bellamy pre-tour but in...More

If you are a history buff (or a Davidson College alum) you need to see this beautiful antebellum home. Yes you get a glimpse into antebellum life, warts and all.

guide gives a history on the house and family that occupied it. Most of the house can be accessed during the tour. It also has a slave residence behind the house. House and quarters have been renovated to how it would have been.

I don't remember what the cost of a senior ticket is. You're asking a senior who can't remember. I do remember that the house is not air conditioned. It is worth being warm just to see it and hear about the family that lived... More

I believe you can purchase the tickets at the mansion on the day of your tour. But the downtown hotels and other venues always seem to be offering discount tickets, so you can beat the at the door price if you shop a round a... More
