Airlie Gardens is a gem, every visit is different. The grounds are spectacular even when the spring flowers aren't blooming. In the summer they have a concert series. I use a mobility scooter and was able to get around fine, although some areas were bumpy....More

This is an awesome stop for a picnic, all day or even the weekend. Many different gardens and spots to explore and awesome sitting areas.

This is a lovely place to stroll and picnic...the old trees are large and give nice shade. Also has a view of the water here. A very pretty place

Airlie Gardens was a very good side/day trip from Wilmington, SC. the gardens are well maintained, and seems something is always in bloom. The highlight of the gardens for me was the Airlie Oak - a more than 400 year old oak tree.

This was a cool place to spend an hour or two in Wilmington. It's beautiful and well worth the price of admission. Check out the butterfly pavilion when you get here.

I took photos during their "enchanted Airlie" when we toured their Festival of Lights. Not sure if it's allowed during the day. I don't see why not. You can't take professional photos out there.
