We had a lovely visit on President's Day. Spring has almost sprung!! Many of the flowers and gardens are blooming. Great place to go for some peace and quiet. Great for kids. Do feed the koi fish. And, it's free. Donations accepted. We loved it.

This place has the most interesting knowledge about plants. I have even brought things in to identify and they helped. I love to go to the plant club events they have from time to time. You can get some of the best grown plants and information from the growers themselves.

The Arboretum has a large variety of plants both native to this area and brought in from other areas. The helpful and knowledgeable staff are eager to assist the public.

The county maintains a pretty good little garden. It's a great place to let your kids run around and get some energy out. If you have plant questions the county extension office is on property maned with master gardeners.

This garden is ideal for people who are looking for a more compact botanical garden. It is small, private and very peaceful. The gardens are stunning and can easily be viewed in an hour. The walk is not exerting and the property is lovely and shaded. There as an incredible array of plants and they are displayed beautifully. It is... More

I always visit the arboretum when we go to Wilmington. It's free for visitors and better than the others. I would recommend for everyone. There are beautiful gardens.

I spent a peaceful morning while visiting friends walking through the Arboretum. Everywhere I looked, whether it was the beautiful wooden bridge over the pond (complete with dragon), the extensive rose garden, to the blooming azaleas, lush foliage and trees, there was a photo worth taking. This lovely venue features free admission, a gift shop, and restrooms.
