I, for one, think that Spiel Stevensburg is a brilliant mind and absolute hilarious person - it blew my mind how much he knew about film/media (in general), but also by how much he knows about Wilmington. I will do this tour every time we're in Wilmington.

This tour has potential to be excellent. Many good tv shows and movies filmed here. The first 20 minutes were fine, but the supposed 'walking tour' is more of a stop and stand tour. The tour guide has information but he is so full of himself and his own opinions colored with terrible and offensive humor that the tour became... More

I joined Michael on his tour of Wilmington. It was a tough crowd for him as I was most interested in One Tree Hill, and the couple with me had never heard of it. I think he did a good job of giving me specific information on what I wanted, as well as giving us lots of information of other... More

The guide was well versed in the things filmed in Wilmington. However, it was not real interesting to those of us who do not watch much of what comes down the pike. I enjoyed absorbing the great ambiance of Wilmington on the journey, however. Also, not recommended for kids under 12. Will try the Battleship or the river cruise next... More

The tour guide was friendly but overall i was very disappointed in the tour. Everything was pretty obscure references. There was a lot of looks in the guides scrapbook as well. I wouldn't return.

My daughter and her friend, both 18, set this up in advance because it sounded cool. My wife got dragged along with them. (Having previously read the reviews, I was smart enough to go elsewhere with my son.) We are not big TV viewers and hadn't previously heard of Dawsons Creek and 1 Tree HIll - and those are the... The tour guide rambled, went off on tangents and non-sequiturs. It was painful and I left pretty much immediately.

The tour focused mainly on Dawson's Creek and Once Tree Hill, because they filmed there for 15 years. However, our guide did point out several movie locations and talked about the different shows and movies that had been filmed in Wilmington and why film and TV companies filmed here. Several Nicholas Sparks movies were mentioned and the tour was fun.... More

Downtown Wilmington is worth the stop. Blocks of shops and restaurants with many offerings. It is beautiful by the water with a view of the Battleship NC. Watch the sunset from the picture window of a beautiful corner restaurant, or walk the boardwalk and smell the salty air. It's moments like these....

If you are fans of these shows this is the tour for you, but if you want to hear about other movies or shows those are the tidbits thrown in. A very slow stroll around two blocks. Disappointing.
