On a nice day, the capital grounds are worthy of a stroll. On a bad weather day, the inside is worth a tour, especially if you like art-deco.

The ONLY tall building in Bismarck. My main interest in the Capitol grounds were the trails. The trails around the capitol were ones I frequented on my bike and are very nice.

The museum on the grounds are free for all and offer a great look into the history and indiginous background of the area

Built by the same people who did the Rockefeller Center this is a great building to visits and admire the construction. It does not take long and is just across the street from the Historical Society. The wall of dignitaries is fun to see also....More
