    Educational visit to Entopia
Went with family, a good fun trip for the kids with an educational aspect to it. They really enjoyed it , and learned a lot about all the different animals. The butterfly outdoor section did look like it needed some maintenance, but besides that it was a good display and an easy walk around suitable for all ages. Some really good educational videos as well. The downside for first time visitors will be the realization that international visitors to Penang will be charged more than locals for admission, but this is common place in Malaysia. The gift shop at the exit was a negative experience unfortunately- We were looking at one of the displays but one of the shop staff wouldn’t leave us alone ,even though we politely informed her a couple of times that we were fine and didn’t need her help at the moment. I was going to buy a couple of gifts, but due to her insistent behavior we just left the shop without buying anything.
Thank you for visiting Entopia and leaving us a review here! Great to hear that your children enjoyed the place. We have taken note of your negative experience at our retail store. Your feedback is invaluable to us and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused by our personnel. We appreciate your kind patience and understanding and will certainly take steps to ensure a more pleasant and comfortable shopping experience for all our visitors. We hope you will visit us again soon.

    A world of butterflies
I wish we’d scheduled more time for Entopia - we spent about 90 minutes there and could have stayed much longer. The living butterflies are definitely the highlight, but their huge array of preserved butterflies, bugs and beetles is beautiful and fascinating. There’s so much for kids to do, but it’s great fun for adults too. It’s amazing having huge butterflies land on you and just settle for a few moments. I’ll definitely go back if (when?) I visit Penang again.

    Great morning for family
Lovely morning out. Arrived shortly after 10am, not too busy. 10.30am we got to release some butterflies. Walking through the areas are well maintained and loads of butterflies, insects and reptiles to see. Interesting Discovery Centre including a short presentation where we could handle stick insects, cockroaches etc. Worth the admission price, all of us including a 4 year old had a lovely few hours here.

    Very Good Excursion
This is sort of like kids science museum meets botanical gardens. I was pretty satisfied with just the butterfly done but then realized there is so much more! Many different exhibits were to follow, each engaging and informative. I went with adults, but think this would be a big hit for families with kids from around 4-12 years old, but more appropriate for kids ages 7-12 probably.

Entopia have 2 sides, outdoor park of butterflies and an indoor area of other bugs. Also a section for paid activities. Good for young children to see up close to insects.

Entopia is an excellent draw card for Penang as this sprawling attraction boasts of a splendid display of plants, vertebrates and invertebrates to keep a visitor interested and engaged. Of course the wide variety of butterflies deserve special mention as they are the stars of the show, flitting from plant to plant and being in no way camera shy!Kudos to the owners and the staff who manage this attraction so efficiently.

A very interactive visit where my kids and i get to learn more about moths, butterflies and their insects friends. Do catch their butterflies release and silk worm DIY book mark where you can spin your own silk threads. Love it love it Love it. Special shout out to Teacher Melissa for the lovely lecture on the different kind of insects at the mystery cave. Terima Kasih Entopia and we will see you soon.

The butterflies are beautiful, the exhibitions too! My favourite is the giant home tree in the middle, it was huge!
