A recreated pioneer village, Bonanzaville is Fargo's must-see destination with over 400,000 artifacts in 43 historic buildings to simulate late 19th-century life in the Red River Valley. Our museum collections include a tractor museum, air museum, car museum, Fargo's First House, the Houston House, a model railroad train display, and more. The new Lucien C. Barnes Pavilion has a rotating exhibit gallery that always offers something new to see year round. Theres something for everyone in the family at Bonanzaville!

A large and diverse collection of historic buildings equipment and memorabilia but lacking cohesion. Hard to tell why some pieces are there and not a lot of information. But still worth an hour randomly wandering about.

Really was not prepared for what we found. Figured it would be a dismal tourist trap but not much else to see in the area, so gave it a try. Was so surprised at how much there was there to see, read about the area,...More

There truly is a lot to see here! We really enjoyed looking in all of the buildings and learning about some of the artifacts that they had. We spent an hour there and still didn't see everything (we left due to being hot and tired)....More

Great recreated village and antique museums of tractors, equipment, and houses. The antique fire trucks were quite interesting.

Bonanzaville is an hodgepodge of a few great things and many not-so-great things, thrown together and put on exhibit in different building to various results. It's the perfect example of the difference between a collection and an accumulation: there is a lot (A LOT) of...More
