They've done an amazing job of creating a green space and protecting for the future. This little obelisk paints a stark reminder of the devastation back in '97.

Flooding has played an important role in the history of this town and this Monument is a very good indication of the relevant levels of historical floods. A good reminder to those who live in the area and a great insight for visitors.
